"Glock Switch" / Convertible Pistol Check (Semiautomatic Pistol) — PA 26-41, eff. 10/1/2026

CT's new convertible-pistol / machine-gun provisions target striker-fired pistols with a "cruciform trigger bar" (the Glock-pattern trigger/sear linkage) that a "pistol converter" ("Glock switch"/auto sear) can plug into.

If this shield can be removed with a common household tool, the statute treats it as if it were not there.
